Concerts at Spring Cypress is a free concert series featuring performances by musicians of diverse genres, including jazz, classical, singer / songwriter, folk, Gospel, rock, and alternative. While some concerts will feature a line up of soloists, others will showcase a band or ensemble.
Organized by recording artist Jennifer Grassman and hosted in the beautiful, acoustic sanctuary of Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church, Concerts at Spring Cypress provides the Spring, Texas community with family friendly performances of artistic integrity and captivating charm … without the cover charge or the trek downtown!
Our mission is three-fold:
★ To provide free family friendly events in Spring so that people don’t have to drive downtown or pay and arm and a leg to get high caliber entertainment.
★ To extend the love and hospitality of Christ to our community.
★ To give local musicians, artisans and performers the chance to showcase their work in a safe, high quality, family friendly environment.
Why are we doing this? Because we believe that God created music, and it is good! Concerts @ Spring Cypress is therefor a celebration of the extraordinary artistic talent and diversity which He has blessed his creation with.
Please be aware that we cannot accept credit or debit cards, so if you are considering buying a CD or tipping the artists, we ask that you bring cash or your check book.
Also, in order to better facilitate the ongoing work of our guest musicians, we request that you consider donating $10 per person (ages 12 and up) at the door. This is not a mandatory fee, but we do want to reward our performers, who are graciously donating their time and effort for our entertainment.
